Water Distribution Services
Water Distribution provides services for campus water, irrigation, sewer, and storm systems, which include:
- Clean and maintain campus sewers and storm drain systems at buildings
- Install and maintain water metering devices
- Manage and maintain campus water distribution systems
- Test fire hydrants and backflow devices
Connections to a UC Merced fire hydrant require a completed permit, backflow, and meter.

provides potable water for the campus.
