Ground Services manages and maintains the campus grounds, including:
- Grounds and turf maintenance, including litter removal, lawn and turf mowing, edging, leaf removal, and sidewalk sweeping
- Irrigation system maintenance and repair, with priority given to critical repairs and essential system needs
- Landscape maintenance and renewal, including landscaping, mulching, fertilizing, weed control, grooming, and plant replacement, with services prioritized based on available resources
- Tree planting, trimming, and pruning, with pruning cycles adjusted as needed
- High-visibility landscape areas, with resources prioritized for primary campus entrances and other prominent areas
- University event support, including major University events, with departmental event support based on staffing availability
